2. All sins forgiven

اَللّٰھُمَّ  صَلِّ  عَلٰی   سَیِّدِنَا   وَ  مَوْلَانَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  وَّ عَلٰی  اٰلِہٖ  وَسَلِّمْ

It is narrated from Sayyidunā Anas رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ that the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated, “Whoever recites this ṣalāt upon me whilst standing, his sins will be forgiven prior to him sitting; and if he recites it whilst sitting, his sins will be forgiven before he stands.”[1]

3. Seventy portals of mercy

صَلَّی  اللّٰہُ  عَلٰی  مُحَمَّدٍ

Seventy portals of mercy are opened for whoever recites this ṣalāt.[2]

4. The reward of 600,000 alāt

اَللّٰھُمَّ  صَلِّ   عَلٰی   سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  عَدَدَ

مَا  فِیْ  عِلْمِ اللّٰہِ  صَلَاۃً   دَ اۤ ئِمَۃًۢ   بِدَوَامِ  مُلْكِ  اللّٰہِ

Shaykh Aḥmad Ṣāwī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه reports from some saints of Islam that by reciting this ṣalāt once, a person attains the reward of reciting ṣalawāt 600,000 times.[3]

5. Nearness to the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

اَللّٰھُمَّ  صَلِّ  عَلٰی  مُحَمَّدٍ  کَمَا   تُحِبُّ  وَ  تَرضٰی  لَہٗ
