اَوْلَی النَّاسِ بِیْ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَةِ اَکْثَرُھُمْ عَلَیَّ صَلَاةً

Translation: The closest to me among people on the Day of Judgment will be the one who sends the most Salat upon me. (Tirmizi, vol. 2, p. 27, Hadith 484)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                         صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ Translation: True intention is the most superior action. (Jami’ Sagheer, p. 81, Hadith 1284)

O devotees of the Prophet! Make a habit of making good intentions prior to initiating any task, as a good intention makes a person enter Paradise. Make some good intentions before listening to the speech also; for example:

*   I will listen to the entire speech to acquire knowledge.

*   I will sit with reverence.

*   I will avoid laziness while listening to the speech.

*   I will listen to the speech for my own rectification.

*   I will try to convey to others what I hear.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! The blessed month of Muharram-ul-Haraam is among us, and this blessed month has a special connection with the (divinely made pure) Ahl-e-Bayt رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم, Imam Hasan Mujtaba and Imam Hussain رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُما. With this relevance, let us hear about the greatness and excellence of the Hasanayn Karimayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُما. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would show great love towards both of these princes.

Just as Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ states that the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was once asked as to whom was the most beloved to him from the Ahl-e-Bayt رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم? He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied, ‘Hasan and Hussain رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُما.’ He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would say to Sayyidatuna Fatima-tuz-Zahra رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا,
