4.   He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Obedience to Allah Almighty lies in obedience to the father, and disobedience to Allah Almighty lies in disobedience to the father.’ (Mu’jam-e-Awsat, vol. 1, p. 614, Hadith 2255)

5.   He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Whosoever reached both of his parents, or one of them, and did not treat them good, he will enter Hell, he will be distant from the mercy of Allah Almighty and he will be worthy of the wrath of Allah Almighty.’ (Mu’jam-e-Kabeer, vol. 12, p. 66, Hadith 12551)

6.   He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘A son cannot fulfil the right of his father, until he found his father as a slave, purchased him and then freed him.’ (Muslim, p. 624, Hadith 3799)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! The purpose of this Hadith is to mention the great rank of the father, it does not mean that a person will fulfil the right of his father if he found his father as a slave, and then purchased and freed him. Hence, Hakeem-ul-Ummat Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan
رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: The meaning is that no matter how much a son serves his father, he cannot fulfil his right. (Mirat-ul-Manajih, vol. 5, p. 187)
