Why was Satan rejected?

Dear Islamic brothers! Let’s listen about the condemned Satan as to who he was and why he received this calamity that Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ declared him as rejected from His court forever.

Remember! Before being declared as unfortunate and accursed, Satan was beautiful, handsome, had a lot of knowledge, worshipped a lot and was the leader of angels. He held an esteemed position amongst the angels. The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: Angels were created from light. Iblees was created from pure fire. (Muslim, pp. 1221, Hadees 7495)

Before he became the leader of angels, Iblees, who is referred to as Satan, was in charge of looking after the treasures of heaven for 40,000 years, was with the angels for 80,000 years, would do bayan to angels for 20,000 years, was leader of the angels close to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ (i.e. Sayyiduna Jibraeel and Sayyiduna Izra’eelعَـلَيْـهِمَا الـسَّـلَام  etc.) for 30,000 years, was leader of Ruhaniyeen (رُوْحَانِیِّیْن) (i.e. specific angels of Allah Almighty whose faces are brighter than the sun and moon) for 1000 years and did Tawaf of the Throne of Allah for 14,000 years. In the first sky, his name was ‘Aabid. In the second sky, his name was Zahid. In the third sky, his name was ‘Aarif. In the fourth sky, his name was Wali. In the fifth sky, his name was Taqi. In the sixth sky, his name was Khaazin and in the seventh sky, his name was ‘Azazeel. Whereas, his name was written as Iblees (i.e. hopeless of the mercy of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ) in the Lauh-e-Mahfooz (لَوْح ِمَحْفُوْظ) and he was unaware of his fate. (Ajaaib-ul-Quran, pp. 253; summarised)

When Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ ordered him to prostrate to Sayyiduna Aadam عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام, he said: O Allah! You have granted him superiority over me, whereas I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay. How can I
