Madani pearls of respecting Sadaat
O devotees of Rasool! Let’s have the privilege of listening to some Madani pearls about the reverence for blessed Sadaat, but first of all listen to two blessed sayings of Mustafa صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
1. The one who treats any of my Ahl-e-Bayt رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم well, I will bestow the reward of it upon him on the Judgement Day. (Jami’ Sagheer, pp. 533, Hadees 8821)
2. The person who does good to any of the offspring of Abdul Muttalib in the world, giving reward for it is compulsory for me when he will meet me on the Judgement Day.
(Tareekh Baghdad, vol. 10, pp. 102, Hadees 5221)
3. The reverence for blessed Sadaat is Fard and insulting them is Haraam.
(Kufriyah Kalimat kay Baaray mayn Suwal Jawab, pp. 277)
The main reason why we respect and revere blessed Sadaat is that these personages are the part of the blessed and purest body of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
(Sadaat Kiraam ki ‘Azmat, pp. 7)
It is amongst the reverence for the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم that all those things which are related to the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم should be revered.
(Ash-Shifa, pp. 56, Juz: 2; Sadaat Kiraam ki ‘Azmat, pp. 8) Reverence does not need any confirmation and nor does it need any specific certificate; therefore those who are called Sadaat should be revered. (Sadaat Kiraam ki ‘Azmat, pp. 14)
