Sunnahs and manners of wearing ring

 ٭Only such ring is permissible for a man that looks like the ring of men, i.e. it contains only one gem. If it contains (more than one or many gems, then it will be impermissible for men even if it is of silver. (Rad-dul-Muhtar, vol. 9, pp. 597)

 ٭It is impermissible to wear ring without a gem as it will not be deemed as a ring, but a Challa [plain ring without a stone]. If any Islamic brother is wearing a metallic bracelet, Challa, impermissible ring or chain, then take it off straightaway and repent, and vow not to wear it again.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب           صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Du’a for repenting sincerely when one has committed a sin

In the Madani Halqahs of Dawat-e-Islami’s Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’ this week, the Du’a to be recited at the time of “repenting sincerely” will be taught as per the schedule. The Du’a is as follows:

اَللّٰھُمَّ  مَغْفِرَ تُکَ  اَ وْسَعُ  مِنْ  ذُ نُوْ بِیْ  وَ  رَحْمَتُکَ  اَرْجٰی  عِنْدِیْ  مِنْ  عَمَلِیْ

Translation: O Allah Almighty! Your forgiveness is greater than my sins. And I am more hopeful of your mercy compared to my actions.
