Maa Baap Ko Satana Haram Hai

Book Name:Maa Baap Ko Satana Haram Hai

No obedience in the matters against the Shari’ah

If parents command you to perform something that is against the Shari’ah, such as shave your beard etc., then, in this case, Shari’ah has forbidden you to fulfil their command because it is not permissible to disobey Allah Almighty in order to obey creation. Allah Almighty states in part 20, Surah Al-‘Ankaboot, Ayah 8:

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: We have emphasised upon man to show kindness towards his parents, and if they strive to make you ascribe a partner with Me about which you do not have any knowledge, then do not obey them. Only towards Me is your return so I will inform you of what you used to do. (Part 20, Surah Al-‘Ankaboot, Ayah 8)

Then the old woman bore starvation. For one day, she did not eat, neither did she drink and nor did she sit in shade. Due to this, she became weak. Then she spent another day and night in the same very state. Then (Sayyiduna) Sa’d رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ came to her and said: ‘O mother! Even you have a hundred lives and every single life ends one by one, I will still not leave my religion. It is up to you whether you eat or not.’ When she became disappointed from (Sayyiduna) Sa’d رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ that he will not abandon his
