٭In order to develop the habit of making intentions, one will have to seriously make his own mindset while keeping in view the importance of intentions. (Sawab Berhaanay kay Nuskhay, pp. 3)

  ٭Sayyiduna Na’eem Bin Hammad رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه  used to say that ‘it is easier for us to have our backs whipped than to make righteous intentions’. (Tanbih-ul-Mughtarrin, pp. 25)

  ٭Sayyiduna ‘Ali-ul-Murtada کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم has stated: ‘A person is given such rewards upon righteous intention that are not even given to him on virtuous action, because there is no ostentation in intention.’ (Jahannam mayn Lay Jaanay Walay A’maal, vol. 1, pp. 152)

To learn various Sunan, obtain the following books, Bahar-e-Shari’ah part 16 comprising of 312 pages and Sunnatayn aur Adaab, comprising of 120   pages, both published by Maktaba-tul-Madinah, the publishing department of Dawat-e-Islami. One of the best ways to learn Sunan is to travel in the Madani Qafilahs of Dawat-e-Islami with the lovers of the Beloved Rasool.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Du’a for becoming pious

The Du’a for ‘becoming pious’ will be memorised as per the schedule in the Madani Halqahs [circles] of Dawat-e-Islami’s Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’ this week. The Du’a is as following:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ الَّذِينَ اِذَا اَحْسَنُوْا اِسْتَبْشَرُوْا، وَ اِذَا اَسَاؤُوْا اِسْتَغْفَرُوْا

Translation: O Allah Almighty, make me among those people who become happy upon performing a righteous action and repent in case they commit a sin. (Musnad Imam Ahmad, vol. 9, pp. 450, Hadees 25034)
