Book Name:Aashiqoon Ka Hajj
board at home without any good intention. In fact, various Hajis take loads of pictures in Ihram. After all, what is this? Is it appropriate for a fled slave to present himself in the court of the Merciful Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم with such awe and dignity? Not at all! Rather, one shall present himself in the blessed court while crying, trembling and shivering. (Rafeeq-ul-Haramayn, pp. 49)
(Wasail-e-Bakhshish, pp. 188)
Dear Islamic brothers! Those who display a sign of Hajj Mubarak on their homes and spread the news of their Hajj all around without any good intention and just for the charm of their Nafs and desire for attaining fame, a narration based on the highest level of humility is presented for them.
Sayyiduna Sufyan Sawri رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه left walking for Hajj from Basra. Somebody humbly asked: ‘Why don’t you ride (upon a mean of transport)?’ He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه replied: ‘Should a fled slave go to the court of his Merciful Lord riding (upon a mean of transport) in order to reconcile? I feel extremely embarrassed in going to that sacred land.’ (Tanbih-ul-Mughtarrin, pp. 267; Rafeeq-ul-Haramayn, pp. 54)
اے زائرِ مدینہ تُو خوشی سے ہنس رہا ہے
