First food of Sayyiduna Ali کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم

His mother, Sayyidatuna Fatimah Bint-e-Asad رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا has stated: When Ameer-ul-Mu`mineen Sayyiduna ‘Ali کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم was born, the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم named him ‘Ali’, put his blessed saliva into his mouth and put his blessed tongue into his mouth for blessings and he کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم fell asleep in the same state. Next day, we called a midwife to breastfeed him, but he کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم did not take milk. When this news reached the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم came and put his blessed tongue into Sayyiduna ‘Ali’s mouth; while gaining blessings from the blessed tongue he کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم fell asleep. Hence, it continued until Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ willed.

Who is the Maula of believers?

In Ayah 4 of Surah At-Tahreem, part 28, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has said:

فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ مَوْلٰىهُ وَ جِبْرِیْلُ وَ صَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَۚ-وَ الْمَلٰٓىٕكَةُ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ ظَهِیْرٌ(۴)

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: Allah is his helper, and Jibraeel, and the righteous believers and furthermore the angels are appointed as helpers.
