صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Summary of speech

Dear Islamic brothers! In today’s speech, we have heard about the 2^nd caliph, Sayyiduna ‘Umar Bin Khattab’s fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ was the embodiment of the fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ would do Zikr of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ most of the time.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ was a real worshipper.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ remained pious and had dislike for the world throughout his life.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ would quite often weep out of the fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.

§  It was the state of his fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ that he wished he had not been born in this world.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ would also give Dars of piety and abstinence to others.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ would listen to the things consisting of the fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ from others.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ was so pious that those who would remain in his company would also become the embodiment of the fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.

§  He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ would ask children to make Du’a for himself. He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ would always fear Allah’s Hidden Plan.

May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ enable us to follow in his footsteps!

اٰمِيۡن بِجَاهِ النَّبِيِّ الۡاَمِيۡن صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيۡهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
