The Glorious Quran has condemned it at many places and the liars deserve Divine curse.

    Blessed verses about Lying

It is stated in verse 30 of Surah Al-Hajj, part 17:

    وَ  اجۡتَنِبُوۡ ا   قَوۡ لَ  الزُّ وۡرِ  ﴿ۙ۳۰﴾

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: And avoid false speech.

    (Part 17, Surah Al-Hajj, verse 30)

It is stated in verse 105 of Surah An-Nahl, part 14:

    اِ نَّمَا  یَفۡتَرِ ی  الۡکَذِ بَ   ا لَّذِیۡنَ

    لَا  یُؤۡ مِنُوۡ نَ   بِاٰیٰتِ  اللّٰہِ  ۚ   وَ  اُولٰٓئِکَ   ہُمُ    الۡکٰذِبُوۡنَ     ﴿۱۰۵﴾

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: Only those who do not believe in Allah’s signs attribute lies and fabrications; and they themselves are liars.

    (Part 14, Surah An-Nahl, verse 105)

Sadr-ul-Afadil, ‘Allamah Maulana Mufti Sayyid Muhammad Na’eemuddin Muradabadi عَـلَيْهِ رَحۡمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ الۡـهَادِی has said: ‘Lying and blaming are the jobs of dishonest people.’ (Khaza`in-ul-‘Irfan, part 14, An-Nahl, Taht-al-Ayah 105)

Imam-ul-Mutakallimeen, ‘Allamah Imam Fakhruddin Muhammad Bin ‘Umar Razi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has stated: The abovementioned blessed verse is a concrete proof on this thing that lying is the greatest of the major sins and the worst of all the evils because only that person can dare to speak a lie and blame others who does not believe in the signs of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ or that person who is a non-Muslim and the condemnation of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ with such strict words is a severe warning from Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. (Tafseer Kabeer, vol. 7, pp. 272)
