اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Dawat-e-Islami is busy propagating the call towards righteousness in more than 200 countries of the world in approximately 104 departments. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ, Majlis Tawqeet has not only prepared the maps showing timings of Salah of countless cities as per the rules and regulations of the knowledge of Tawqeet, but it has gone one step ahead. That is, it has introduced an App., by the name of ‘Awqat-us-Salat’ (Prayer Times) in cooperation with Majlis IT of Dawat-e-Islami, a Madani movement of devotees of Rasool. Attar’s letter about celebrating Milad

O devotees of Rasool who celebrate the birthday of the Beloved Rasool                 صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! The month of Safar-ul-Muzaffar is going to end soon. Then  اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ the sacred month of Rabi’-ul-Awwal will begin. This is the great month for which the devotees of Rasool desperately wait for 11 (eleven) months. They take out processions by enchanting ‘Marhaba Ya Mustafa’, arrange the gatherings of Milad, give Sadaqah and charity, decorate [homes, streets, etc.] with green flags and buntings, illuminate buildings, streets, etc. and celebrate the blessed birthday with great joy and express their devotion and love.

But remember! For every important task, there are some necessary manners, hence there are some manners for celebrating Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi as well. All the non-Shar’i activities should be avoided such as decorating the streets or the roads in a way that causes inconvenience to drivers and pedestrians. The act of women leaving their homes to see the illuminations by moving among strange men without any purdah and even the intermingling of the women, who observe purdah, with men in a usual manner, is extremely regrettable and deplorable.
