The noble Companionsرَضِیَ
اللهُ
عَنْهُما asked:
"O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى
الـلّٰـهُ
عَلَيْهِ
وَاٰلِهٖ
وَسَلَّم! What are those things?"
He replied: "(1) Give to the one who deprives you, (2) join ties with the
one who cuts ties with you, and (3) pardon the one who oppresses you."[1]
2. The Merciful Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: "On the Day of Judgement, an announcement will be made: 'Let him whose reward is upon the Grace of Allah stand up and enter Paradise.'
It will be asked: 'For whom is the reward?'
The announcer will say: 'For those who used to pardon people.'
Then thousands of people will stand up and enter Paradise without accountability."[2]
3. The Final Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: "Whosoever pardons the mistake of a Muslim, Allah will pardon his mistake on the Day of Judgement."[3]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard how excellent an act it is to pardon people; not only does it bring blessings in this world, but in the Hereafter, by the will of Allah, one will be graced with the glad tidings of Paradise. How fortunate are those Muslims who, despite having the power and ability to take revenge, do not make the mistakes of others
