They engage in good deeds.
In short, their heart is filled with gratitude, and their happiness stems from this sense of thankfulness. This type of happiness is an act of worship. Allah Almighty states:
قُلۡ بِفَضۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَ بِرَحۡمَتِہٖ فَبِذٰلِکَ فَلۡیَفۡرَحُوۡا ؕ
Say, “Only with the Grace of Allah and His Mercy they should rejoice.[1]
O devotees of the Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! We must deeply ingrain the following principle in our hearts and make it a permanent habit. Whether we receive the smallest blessing or the greatest bounty, we must:
* never become arrogant,
* never boast,
* never flaunt.
Instead:
* overcome by emotions of gratitude, bow your head in humility before the Lord,
* express thanks to Him,
* and celebrate with the spirit of thankfulness.
Reflect on this: Qārūn received wealth which was a blessing from Allah Almighty. But he:
* became arrogant,
* rejoiced with pride,
