Let’s listen to 4 blessed sayings of Beloved Mustafa صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم regarding the virtues of Hajj and the gifts bestowed upon the Hajis so that we can further develop the passion for the privilege of performing Hajj:

1.         A Hajj pilgrim will intercede on behalf of 400 (Muslims) of his family members and his sins will be removed as if he was born from the womb of his mother that day. (Kanz-ul-’Ummal, vol. 3, pp. 7, Hadees 11837)

2.         Perform Hajj, because Hajj erases sins as water washes away dirt.

(Al-Mu’jam-ul-Awsat, vol. 3, pp. 416, Raqm 4997)

3.         When you meet a Haji, greet him and shake hands with him, and ask him to make Du’a for your forgiveness before he enters his home, because he has been forgiven. (Mishkat-ul-Masabih, vol. 1, pp. 472, Hadees 2538)

4.         The one who leaves with the intention to perform Hajj and then dies, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will write the reward of Hajj for him until the Day of Judgement and the one who leaves with the intention to perform ‘Umrah and then dies, so for him the reward of ‘Umrah will be written repeatedly until the Day of Judgement. (Musnad Abu Ya’la, vol. 5, pp. 441, Hadees 6327)

پھر عطا کر دیجئے حج کی سَعَادت یا رسول

ہو مدینے کی اجازت بھی عِنایت یا رسول

حج کا موسِم آگیا حُجّاج نے باندھی کمر

میرے حج کی بھی کوئی ہو جائے صورت یا رسول

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب       صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Dear Islamic brothers! Have you heard about the ways          Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ blesses the Hajis of His Sacred Home that not only does He عَزَّوَجَلَّ accept their Hajj, but He عَزَّوَجَلَّ will also bless them with the authority of intercession on the Day of Judgement!
