Traits of a Pious Woman in Light of the noble Quran

What should be the traits of a believing woman? Here are some of them in light of the noble Quran.
1. Protecting her honour
وَ یَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوْجَہُنَّ وَ لَا یُبْدِیْنَ زِیْنَتَہُنَّ
“And to protect their chastity, and not to reveal their adornment.”[1]
2. Acting upon the commands of Allah Almighty and His Messenger
وَ مَا کَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَّ لَا مُؤْمِنَۃٍ اِذَا قَضَی اللّٰہُ وَ رَسُوْلُہٗۤ اَمْرًا اَنْ یَّکُوْنَ لَہُمُ الْخِیَرَۃُ مِنْ اَمْرِہِمْ ؕ
“And it does not befit a Muslim man nor a Muslim woman, that when Allah and His Messenger have ordered any command (regarding something concerning them); so, any choice remain for them in their matter.”[2]
3. Not committing shirk
لَّا یُشْرِکْنَ بِاللّٰہِ شَیْئًا
“They will neither ascribe any partner to Allah.”[3]
4-7. Refraining from theft, immorality, killing family, and slander
وَّ لَا یَسْرِقْنَ وَ لَا یَزْنِیْنَ وَ لَا یَقْتُلْنَ اَوْلَادَہُنَّ وَ لَا یَاْتِیْنَ بِبُہْتَانٍ یَّفْتَرِیْنَہٗ
“Nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their offspring, nor bring the fabrication they carry.”[4]
A woman who possesses all these qualities has attained a high rank. She refrains from household quarrels, adopts sharꜤī veiling, and protects herself and others from the prevailing evils in society. A woman nurtures the new generation of Muslims, and if she gives these praiseworthy traits to her children, the world of Islam will benefit greatly. A great example for women is the life of Lady Fāṭimah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا, which provides clear guidance on the roles of a woman as a member of a family and society. May Allah Almighty grant our mothers and sisters the ability to follow in her footsteps.
اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّیْن صلَّی اللہ علیہ واٰلہٖ وسلَّم
