Flags in happiness of the blessed birth
Sayyidatuna Aaminah رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهَا said, ‘I saw that three flags were planted: One in the east, one in the west and one on the roof of the Ka’bah, and the [blessed] birth of Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم took place.’ (Khasaais-ul-Kubra, vol. 1, pp. 82)

Procession with flags
While migrating to Madinah, when the Beloved and Blessed Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم reached a place near Madinah, known as ‘Mawda’-e-Ghameem’, Buraydah Aslami along with seventy horsemen from the tribe of Bani Sahm chased the caravan with the intention of capturing the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, مَـعَـاذَ الـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ! But he himself got captivated by the spiritual sight of Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and embraced Islam along with his entire caravan. He humbly said, ‘Ya Rasoolallah صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! You should enter Madinah [with dignity] amidst flags.’ Therefore, he took off his turban, tied it to his spear and rode ahead of Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Syrian palaces brightened
The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: I was the last Nabi in the court of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ even at the time when clay of Aadam (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام) was still under preparation. I am the prayer of my father [Sayyiduna] Ibraheem (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام), and I am the glad tidings of [Sayyiduna] ‘Isa (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام) which he had given to his people, and I am the dream of my mother in which she saw a light coming out from her, brightening the palaces of Syria.
