The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: Adorn your gatherings by sending Salat upon me, as your sending of Salat will be a Noor [i.e. light] for you on the Day of Judgement. (Firdaus-ul-Akhbar, vol. 1, p. 422, Hadees 3149)

Saaray asnam mayn larzah hay para aaj ki raat

Bahr-o-bar sang-o-shajar hoor-o-malak Jin-o-Bashar

Sab kay sab kis kay hay yeh mahw-e-liqa aaj ki raat

Ghayrat-e-shams-o-qamar kaun hay aanay wala
