Sunnah. May Allah Almighty grant us all the ability to act upon the Sunnahs of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

A letter of Attar concerning the Milad of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

Dear Islamic brothers! The blessed month of Safar is headed towards its completion. After this, the radiant month of Rabi-ul-awwal shall be upon us. Shaykh-e-Tareeqat, Ameer-e-ahl-Sunnat, the founder of Dawat-e-Islami, Allamah Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri
دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ has written a letter comprising of Madani pearls, for those devotees of the Messenger who celebrate the blessed birth of the final Prophet of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. So let’s have the honour of listening to the letter of Attar with full concentration.

The letter of Attar

‘بِسْمِ اللّٰھِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیم’ From Sag-e-Madina, Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri عُفِی عَنْھ to every male and female devotee of the Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , I address them with a salam filled with happiness of the Milad, a salam full of the waving of Madani flags, a salam full of shining lights and decorations, and a Makki Madani salaam sweeter than honey.

اَلسَّلامُ عَلَیْکُمْ وَرَحْمَۃُاللّٰھِ وَبَرَکاتُھ                                                اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰھِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ عَلٰی کُلِ حَال

On the night upon which the crescent moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal is seen, have this announcement made three times in the masjid: Congratulations to every devotee of the Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal has been sighted!
