1. When you feel malice against anyone, recite once ‘اَعُوۡذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيۡطٰنِ الرَّجِيۡمِ’ and then spit thrice on your left shoulder without saliva.
2. The one who recites ‘اَعُوۡذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيۡطٰنِ الرَّجِيۡمِ’ ten times a day, Allah عَـزَّوَجَــلَّ appoints an angel to give him protection against satan.
3. The one who recites Sūraĥ Al-Ikhlāṣ 11 times in the morning (the duration from post-midnight to the glimmering of the first ray of the sun is called morning) cannot be incited to commit sin by satan with his troop until and unless the reciter commits a sin himself. (Al-Waẓīfa-tul-Karīmaĥ, pp. 21)
4. Reciting Sūraĥ An-Nās suffices to remove evil thoughts.

A renowned commentator of the Holy Quran, Ḥakīm-ul-Ummat Shaykh Muftī Aḥmad Yār Khān عَـلَيْهِ رَحْـمَةُ الْـمَـنَّان has stated: Awliyā Kirām رَحِمَـهُـمُ الـلّٰـهُ الـسَّلَام said, ‘Whosoever recites ‘لَاحَوۡل’ 21 times (morning and evening) and blows onto water and drinks it; اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ he will live in peace against the evil thoughts from satan to a considerable extent.’ (Mirāt-ul-Manājīḥ, vol. 1, pp. 87)
6. ‘ہُوَ الۡاَ وَّلُ وَ الۡاٰخِرُ وَ الظَّاہِرُ وَ الۡبَاطِنُ ۚ وَ ہُوَ بِکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۳﴾’[1], saying this will immediately remove the evil thought.
7. [2]﴿اِنۡ یَّشَاۡ یُذۡ ہِبۡکُمۡ وَ یَاۡتِ بِخَلۡقٍ جَدِ یۡدٍ ﴿ۙ۱۹﴾ وَّ مَا ذٰلِکَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ بِعَـزِ یۡزٍ ﴿۲۰﴾﴾ سُبۡحٰنَ الۡمَلِكِ الۡخَلَّاقِ, reciting this in abundance eradicates the evil thoughts.
