Abuses of the People of Lut

What! You commit the shameful acts which no one in the creation has ever done before you? You go towards men with lust leaving the women! In fact, you have transgressed the limits.
[Kanz-ul-Īmān (Translation of Quran)]
Instead of bowing the head with shame on hearing the advice of Sayyidunā Lūṭ عَـلٰى نَبِيِّنَا وَعَـلَيْهِ الصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَام that would be securing them in the worldly life and the afterlife, the shameless people dare made the reply which has been described in verse Number 82, Sūraĥ al-A’rāf, part 8 in these words:
وَمَا کَانَ جَـوَابَ قَـوۡمِہٖۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ قَالُـوۡۤا اَخۡرِجُوۡہُمۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡیَتِکُمۡ ۚ اِنَّہُـمۡ اُنَاسٌ یَّتَطَہَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۸۲﴾
His people had no answer other than to say, ‘Deport them out of your colony; these people wish purity.’

A Terrible Torment Descended onto the People of Lut
When the defiance and the habit of sodomy of the people of Lūṭ exceeded the limit of admonition, the torment from Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ descended. Hence, Sayyidunā Jibrāīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم accompanied with some angels came to Sayyidunā Lūṭ عَـلٰى نَبِيِّنَا وَعَـلَيْهِ الصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَام in the appearance of ‘Amrad-e-Ḥasīn.’
Sayyidunā Lūṭ عَـلٰى نَبِيِّنَا وَعَـلَيْهِ الصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَام became anxious upon seeing the beauty and attractiveness of these guests and the lust of his people.
