Tree Plantation Campaign by Fgrf in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The tree plantation campaign under FGRF was launched at the Governor House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Due to the lack of dense forests in cities, villages, and mountainous areas, and the absence of timely tree planting, Pakistan has been significantly affected by climatic changes. To combat the effects of climate severity, FGRF initiated a tree plantation campaign on August 1, 2024, across all provinces of Pakistan, including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and abroad. A ceremony for this noble cause was also held at the Governor House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the event, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, met with FGRF officials. The Governor praised FGRF's nationwide efforts and expressed his commitment to actively participate in the tree plantation campaign alongside FGRF. It is noteworthy that political, social, and business figures present at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor House declared FGRF's tree planting initiative as a symbol of national prosperity. Subsequently, the Governor planted saplings at the Governor House and congratulated FGRF on its efforts.
