MEANING :

Ameer-e-Ahlesunnat have composed a list of ‘72’ righteous deeds for men and ‘63’ for women based upon Quran & Sunnah in a questions form. These questions are called “Madani Gifts.”

PURPOSE :

Purpose of these ‘Madani Gifts’ is that every muslim initially analyse his / her life in the light of this charter. And then try his best to act upon these righteous deeds as much as possible  so to make his entire life according to Quran & Sunnah.

IMPORTANCE :

By acting upon this charter it’s become the firm habit of oneself to act upon good deeds which is essential for preaching of Islam. As Quran says :

“Men of faith  !  Why do you say what you do not do ? How unpleasant to Allah are the words not followed by action.”

                                                (Surrah As-saff      Ayat 2-3)

Thus if word are supported by action, it will not only revolutionize oneself but will pave the way to develop a pious society.

Due to the very importance of this charter of ‘Madani Gifts’ , Ameer-e-Ahlesunnat says :

“Alas  !  Every muslim after acting upon the essential duties ( Faraid ) and Sunnahs ; make Madani Gifts as ‘Charter of Actions’ for his life.”

“Alas  !  Every responsible member of Dawat-e-Islami make his duty to spread Madani Gifts in his / her ……….  circle.”

22      Madani Gifts are essential for every muslim to act upon. Otherwise he will be in grave condition on the Day of Resurrection.

24      Madani Gifts are easy and require short time to act upon but very effective to make life successful in this World and ……….

6        Madani Gifts are to carve good conduct and behaviour as our habit.

20      Madani Gifts are about different activities of Dawat-e-Islami. By participating in these activities we remain in touch with the pious environment.

GUIDANCE :

Madani Gifts are analysed here to guide you for effective preparation to act upon this character easily.

A)    You will have to learn  by heart the following Surrahs, Du’as, etc.

B) For have to study the following literature :

EVALUATION :

A specific form is designed to assist oneself to inhibit the acting upon of Madani Gifts in his / her routine life. Also by filling this form one can evaluate his performance in this

regard.

This form is filled in for every Hijra month; if any Madani Gift is performed then mark (        ) otherwise ( O ) in the respective space ; then sum up the total (        ) and put it in the column,

Example:

This form is sent to Majlis Madani Gift through regional ‘Nigran’ ( Observer ) for evaluation and further guidance.

All Praise to Allah ! I act upon Madani Gifts by the consent of Murshid.

Madani Request : 

Beware ! that Satan and your inordinate soul will restrain and reduce you from acting upon these 72 / 63 Madani Gifts composed by Ameer-e-Ahlesunnat . But you must try your best to inhibit these Madani Gifts in your life as much as possible. Allah help those who intend to do good deeds. Amee-e-Ahlesunnat says :

“Really lucky are those who make good preparation for live after before death.” 

Prayer of Attar !

O ! Allah ; for Your consent ; if one act upon these Madani Gifts and send it’s form permanently ; then do not give him death until he has observed piligrin way to Makkah & Madina. Also, combine us in the ……….  of your beloved Holy Prophet (             ) in the Paradise.                       (Aameen)

Daily Madani Gifts :

1)      Do you pray ‘ Salats ’ five times daily in mosque with ‘ Jamat ’, such that you are in the first row and also attaining ‘ Takbir-e-Tahreema ’ ?

2)      Do you daily offer preliminary ‘ Sunnan ’ of Zuhar , Asar and Eshaa before ‘ Jamat ’ and before   Sermon  of Juma ?

3)      Do you daily offer ‘ Nafal ’ prayer after ‘ Faraz ’ prayer of Zuhar , Maghrib and Eshaa ?

4)      Do you daily recite “ Aya-tul-Kursi ” after each ‘ Faraz ’ prayers ; and also recite  Aya-tul-Kursi and  ‘Tasbih-e-Fatima ’ before sleep ?

5)      Do you have the habit to keep ‘Watch’ all the time daily ?

6)      Do you daily recite few ‘Wazaif’ from the ‘Shajrah’ or not ?

7)      Do you have the habit of offering ‘ Tahia-tul-Wadu ’ and ‘ Tahia-tul-Masjid ’ Nafal prayers daily ?

8)      Do you daily offer ‘ Nafal ’ prayers of ‘ Ishraq ’ and ‘ Chasht ’ ?

9)      Do you daily offer ‘ Nafal ’ prayers of ‘ Awwabin ’ ?

10)    Do you daily recite ‘ Surrah-e-Mulk ’ ? (Listening is equivalent to reciting)

11)    Do you daily offer ‘Nafal’ prayers of ‘ Tahjjud ’, with out fail ?

12)    Do you recite ‘ Durud Sharif ’ for minimum 313 times daily ?

13)    Do you daily recite one Ruku of Holy Quran with translation and Tafseer from    Kanz-ul-Iman ?

14)    Do you meet two Islamic brothers each day and ………  them to travel with ‘ Madani Qafila ’ ?

15)    Is it your habit to wear Amama Sharif full day ; to keep Zulfain according to Sunnah ; to wear white clothes with trousers above the ankles ?

16)    Do you observe ‘ Pardah ’ inside and outside your house as described in Faizan-e-Sunnat Page # 756 ?

17)    Do you daiy give or attend at least two Daras (as per your …………. at mosque ,   home , shop , market , chowk etc.)

18)    Do you daily teach or learn Holy Quran in Madras-tul-Madina (Adult Section) ?

19)    Do you return back home within two hours after Eshaa prayers daily ? (Except on Holy nights, Ijtima night or those who work in night shift)

20)    Do you read daily 12 minutes any Islamic book written by Sunni Scholars ?

21)    Do you daily read 4 consecutive pages of ‘Faizan-e-Sunnat’ (beside Daras) ?

22)    Do you raise Madani Call daily ?

23)    Do you keep your clothes and bedding dail;y folded up ? (A unfolded clothes and bedding are used by Satan.)

24)    Do you say Salam to muslim being standing or seated in home , office , …. and ways ?

25)    Either inside or outside home do you make joke and taunt others ?

26)    Either inside or outside home while in anger do you shut your mouth to cool down or burst out ?

27)    While listening to others when you don’t understand any sentence, do you interrupt by saying ‘ What ’ or ‘ Beg your pardon ‘ ?

28)    After understanding the conversation  of others, do you ask to repeat by saying ‘ What ’ or ‘ Why ‘  ?

29)    By talking informal with relating such as Bhabi etc. , do you commit sin ? Or you observe Pardah from them as per Shariah ?

30)    To make Madani Environment in home , do you practice upon ‘ 12 Madani Flowers’ ?

31)    While sleeping or traveling do you keep with you mirror , comb , needle , thread , miswake , oil , scissor according to Sunnat ?

32)    Do you try to offer Salats with absolute …………and humbleness ?

33)    Do you practice Fikar-e-Madina per 12 minutes daily ? (i.e. pondering over Madani  gifts ; ….…..  to Madina ; happy ending ; ………… of grave and resurrection)

34)    Do you say ‘Du’a’ with ………….. and humbleness , keeping your eyes down and your palms open and facing stay ?

35)    Do you try speak …….. and sometime with hand  …….. to practice ‘ Madani Lock ’, to prevent redundant talking ?

36)    Whenever you speak nonsense , do you feel ashamed and recite ‘ Durud Sharif ’ ?

37)    Do you speak for necessary conversation with minimum possible worda ?

38)    Laughing is against Sunnat ? Do you Laugh ?

39)    While walking in ways do you practice Madani Lock by keeping your eyes down ? (Do you avoid watching T.V or ….) ?

40)    Do you see here and there through …….. , etc ; while traveling in vehicle ?

41)    While talking to other person , do you keep your eyes down or keep staining him ?

42)    Beside sleeping , do you practice to close your eyes for 12 minutes daily , so to guard your eyes from seeing here and there ?

43)    From outside of your home or through doors , etc. , do you peep in the homes ?

44)    Do you call your younger and elder even your mother and your children and their mother with respectful words ?

45)    Before sleeping , do you pray  ‘ Salat-ut-Tauba ’ for pardon from all previous sins ?

Weekly Madani Gifts :

46)    In Congregation , do you listen with eyes down each speech , Zikar , Salat-aw-Salam and also …………. important points of speech ?

47)    …………. whether you do Aetikaf for all night (including Halqas , Prayers of Tahjjud , Fajar , Ishraq & Chasht) ?

48)    After congregation do you move forward eagerly to meet 4 other Islamic brothers and then keep contract with them ?

49)    On any other day except holiday in a week , do you attend ‘ Naiki Ki Dawat ’ in your area ?

50)    Do you write or get written a letter for any one Islamic brother at least weekly ?

51)    Do you listen the audio cassette one Bayan or not ? (If possible attend the cassette congregation)

52)    On Weekly holiday , do you perform Nafli Aetikaf between Asar & Maghrib prayers in the mosque ?

53)    In a week for three days , do you eat meals in plate and bowl made by clay ?

54)    Do you keep fast on every Holy Monday or at least any other one day in a week ?

55)    In your home , do you sleep at for three nights on bedding made of leaves of date tree ?

Monthly Madani Gift :

56)    Do you donate Rs. 112/= or 12/= to any Sunni Scholar , Imam or Servant of mosque ?

57)    Do you have read or listen pamphlet of Naki Ki Dawat and pages of 12-Madani  Flowers ?

58)    Every month at least for three days , do you travel with ‘ Madani Qafila ’ ?

59)    By your ………. how may Islamic brothers monthly travel with Madani Qafila ? ( One compulsory )

60)    Each year do you travel with Madani Qafila for continuous 30 days ?

61)    With the help of Bahar-e-Shariat , Rasail-e-Attaria , have you corrected your ‘ Wadu ‘ (Ablution) , method of doing ‘ Ghusal ’ (bath) and ‘ Salat ’ (prayers) and have repeated the same to any Sunni Scholar or preacher ?

62)    Have you learn to read Holy Quran with correct pronunciation (Send the certificate) ?

63)    Have you learnt by heart Du’a after ‘Azan ’, ‘ Iqamat ‘ , ‘ Surrah-e-Fatiha ’ , last ten Surrats of Holy Quran , Dua-e-Qunoot , Durud-e-Ibrahimi , and any one Arabic Dua ?

64)    Have you learnt by heart the six Kalimas , Iman Mujamil and Iman Muffasil ? Do you recite these on Holy Monday ?

65)    Have you  learnt by heart Du’as of funeral prayer for adult , minor male / female and Talbiha , with meaning ? Read “ Namaz Ka Chour ” (Thief of prayers) Page # 18 to 20.

66)    Have you read or listened Tamheed-ul-Iman & Hisam-ul-Harmain written by Ala-Hazrat (            ) ?

67)    Have you read or listened the topics on infidel , dirts , cleaning clothes , lies , back-biting , ………… , arrogance , rights of parents , forbidden things , rights of ………. , children grooming , divorce , zikar , divorce by ………. form. Bahar-e-Shariat ?

68)    Have you read chapter of Kasab-e-Halal from Faizan-e-Sunnat , Rafiq-ul-Harmain and my other magazines ?

69)    Do you have friendship with any one ( or more ) with out any religious case ?

70)    Do you obey centre ( Karachi ) , four area Observer , Sub-observer and other responsibles ?

71)    When you have differences with any responsible person then either you convince & ………. or Allah forbid ! you start talking about the difference to others ?

72)    Answer to Salam , answer for sneeze ; so that other hear it. Do you act upon it or not ? When you commit any sin , do you immediately make apologize and pledge not to commit the sin again ?
